Captivator Gooseberry

Ribes x ‘Captivator’

A nearly thornless gooseberry. Tear-shaped fruit becomes red and sweet as it ripens. This variety is self-pollinated, but fruit set is improved with a pollinizer cultivar. Self-pollinating; only one variety required for fruit production. However, if currants are grown near gooseberries then yields can be even greater.
