Another nearly thornless gooseberry, this one with prairie roots. Green fruit become pink when ripe. This variety is self-pollinated, but fruit set is improved with a pollinizer cultivar. Boughen’s Nursery introduction. Self-pollinating; only one variety required for fruit production. However, if currants are grown near gooseberries then yields can be even greater.
